Welcome to Nandini Vintage Pride (NVP). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Eligibility & General Use
To use or transact on this website, you must be at least 18 years of age. Individuals who are legally incompetent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, are not eligible to use this platform. Users accessing the site from outside India are responsible for complying with their local laws. All products listed are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify prices, discontinue products, or cancel orders at our discretion. Any breach of these terms may result in denial of service or legal action.
2. Product Descriptions & Authenticity
We strive to provide accurate product information, descriptions, and images for every item on our website. However, as all our jewellery is handcrafted, slight variations in size, colour, polish, and texture may naturally occur. These subtle differences and vintage characteristics are inherent to handmade craftsmanship and do not qualify as defects; therefore, they are not eligible for return.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Shipping Policy, and Cancellation Policy.
4. Ordering & Payment
Orders are confirmed only after full online payment is successfully received through our secure payment gateways. We do not accept Cash on Delivery (COD). Once your order is placed, a confirmation will be sent to you via email at contact@nvpjewellery.com or through WhatsApp. Orders without successful payment may be cancelled automatically. Additionally, for orders with a value exceeding ₹2,00,000, submission of valid PAN card details is mandatory, in compliance with government regulations.
Orders are typically processed within 5 to 9 business days. For handcrafted or made-to-order pieces, processing may take up to 10 to 15 business days, depending on the intricacy of the design.
5. KYC & Regulatory Compliance
In accordance with the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961, applicable Income-tax Rules, and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), customers may be required to provide valid PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, and/or other officially valid documents for verification purposes on transactions exceeding prescribed limits.
PAN details may be mandatory for jewellery purchases above ₹2,00,000, and additional KYC documentation including PAN and Aadhaar may be required for higher-value transactions as per applicable laws and regulatory guidelines.
The Company reserves the right to request, verify, and retain such documents and to refuse or cancel any transaction where required documentation is not provided or verification is incomplete.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Please refer to our Shipping Policy for comprehensive details on delivery timelines, serviceable locations, and applicable charges.
NVP Jewellery is not liable for delays arising from third-party logistics providers, customs clearance processes, or unforeseen force majeure events. All products are carefully packed and shipped with insurance coverage to ensure safe delivery. Please note that the risk and responsibility for the product transfer to the customer upon delivery confirmation.
Delivery timelines vary based on the destination. For metro cities in India, orders are typically delivered within 2 to 5 business days. For other locations across India, delivery may take 4 to 8 business days.
7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Our Returns & Refunds and Cancellation Policies apply to all orders placed on our website. Returns are accepted only in cases where the item received is damaged, defective, or incorrect, and are subject to the conditions outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.
For domestic orders, return requests must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery. Once a return is approved, the refund will be processed within 7 business days to the original mode of payment.
Cancellations are allowed only within 24 hours of placing an order and are not applicable for made-to-order or customized products.
8. Warranty & Repairs
Certain products may come with a limited warranty, as specified on the respective product page.
Please note that this warranty does not cover damage resulting from mishandling, exposure to chemicals, or improper storage. However, repair services are available upon request. Once the item is assessed, we will inform you of the applicable charges and estimated repair timeline.
9. Promotions, Coupons & Offers
Offers are valid only during specified timeframes and may not be combined unless stated. NVP Jewellery reserves the right to cancel promotions or refuse coupon applications at its sole discretion.
10. Lifetime Exchange & Buyback
We offer a Lifetime Exchange & Buyback Policy for our jewellery. Products can be exchanged or returned based on current valuation, subject to terms and conditions.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, product designs, and logos, is the exclusive property of NVP Jewellery. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of this content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal information shared on our site is protected as per our Privacy Policy. We do not share or sell user data without consent, unless legally obligated.
13. Use of Our Website
By using this website, you agree to use it for lawful purposes only. You must not use the site to transmit any harmful, fraudulent, or illegal content. Any unauthorized use of our website may result in legal action, including claims for damages or prosecution for criminal offenses.
14. Account Creation
To place orders on our website, you may be required to create an account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password. By using our services, you agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account
15. Account Responsibility
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any activity under your account is deemed authorized unless reported immediately.
16. Limitation of Liability
NVP Jewellery shall not be held liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability is limited to the total value of the transaction in question.
17. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures in service due to events beyond our control (natural calamities, strikes, pandemics, etc.).
18. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by Indian law.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
19. Updates to Terms
NVP reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. The revisions will be posted on this page along with the effective date.
20. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the website or services at any time, without notice, for violations of these Terms.
21. Changes to Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be revised periodically. By continuing to access or use the website after such updates, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
Disclaimer of liability
At NVP Jewellery, we take every effort to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the content and services offered on our website. However, we shall not be held liable for any loss, damage (direct, indirect, or consequential), personal injury, or expense of any kind incurred by you or any third party (including your company), arising from the use of, or reliance on, any information, content, or services provided on our website. This includes, but is not limited to, any errors, delays, omissions, or interruptions in data transmission.
Furthermore, NVP Jewellery and its content providers shall not be responsible for any damages or losses arising from technical failures, unauthorized access, or any form of disruption to the website or its services.
As a merchant, NVP Jewellery holds no responsibility for any financial loss or transaction failure that occurs due to a decline in payment authorization, including cases where the cardholder has exceeded the limit as determined between us and our acquiring bank.
